Last week, we visited MV Logos Hope - the world's largest floating book fair. The boys were excited to set foot on a big ship (although when we left, they were complaining - Why do we have to leave, the ship hasn't sailed yet? - Gael. Sagot ni Araw: Tulog pa kasi ang ship kaya di pa sya gumagalaw - we went at night :) )
The ship has five parts - 1) Welcome: where one can learn a few information about the MV Logos Hope;
The boys aboard the "life boat" while watching the short video about MV Logos Hope
What the crew's sleeping quarters look like
Boys pretending to stir the ship
3) Journey of Life - art installation about the story of the Prodigal Son;
4) Theater: wherein one can get a glimpse on the life inside the ship;
and 5) the International Cafe for snacks, popcorn and drinks. There's a kids area here where the boys stayed and played for a while.
The volunteers were all nice and friendly and we had a great time talking to them about their experience!
MV Logos Hope will be in Pier 15 until tomorrow, March 13, then it will sail off to Subic. It is open until 9:30pm. Entrance is P20 per head, kids 12 years and below can enter free of charge.
